What’s the ATO view on PEPPOL e-Invoicing?
Given councils have such a large supplier network, transitioning local government authorities to PEPPOL is an important step in the standard’s national roll out. We anticipate that the benefits of PEPPOL, in terms of faster payment times and lower invoice processing costs, will filter through the economy, providing a much-needed boost. For councils, PEPPOL will also enable better service delivery, stronger financial control, improved payment security, and increased sustainability.
What are the options for TechOne users?
Everyone who wants to send or receive a PEPPOL e-invoice needs to be connected to a seller and/or buyer’s PEPPOL access point to get onto the network. Some TechOne users may be able to get a PEPPOL access point through their current solution, others may need to upgrade to have this functionality, engage a PEPPOL access point service provider to integrate their existing software, or add on a third-party application that offers the relevant PEPPOL access point.
How can RapidAP help you?
As a complete accounts payable automation solution, RapidAP provides you a buyer’s access point. It allows you to receive and process e-invoices, making sure all your compliance requirements are met. For your non-PEPPOL invoices, RapidAP includes automated data capture technology and compliance checks, validating invoice data before passing it to your invoice processing workflows. RapidAP syncs seamlessly with TechOne, ensuring you get the most from your ERP.
